Joined Sal's Get on Track kick start program at the end of September after seeing her local FB post for new members. So glad I clicked "yes". I'm 58, post-menopausal & knew I had to do something to help with motivation to get moving more to help both mind & body. Sal is brilliant, a star in making you feel good about yourself & helping as much as you want her to. I go to 2 nearby weekly evening circuit classes which are great - hard work but so rewarding. Sal checks my weekly stats, water intake & gives advice on healthy eating choices. Would highly recommend Sal's fitness group. Everyone is made to feel welcome & included. Thank you Sal.

I started fitness with Sal by signing up for the six week kick start. I’ve been attending early mornings three times a week and in a couple of weeks noticed my strength, fitness and agility had improved. I also have found that I have more energy which is always welcome.

Sal is a great trainer and gets the mix of encouragement, kindness and motivation right. The exercises are varied and the 45 minutes flies by

In March ‘24 I was handed a leaflet offering a 7am taster session for Ladies Circuits run by Sal.

Feeling fed up with my declining fitness levels I decided to give it a go. At that time I was not an early riser and was worried about getting to the venue on time! 

Happily, from that first session I was hooked. I look forward to my Tuesday and Thursday early morning Circuits and love that they're outside during the summer months. 

As a result I’m more energetic, more toned, much stronger and I feel healthier & happier. Sal is very enthusiastic, she varies the sessions regularly to keep them fresh and challenging, always keeps an eye on our form and motivates us all.

I am aged 55 and have always enjoyed sport from school age onto gym and classes and teaching in a gym into my 30s. Carried on gym cardio sessions and weights to mid 40s. Reaching perimenopause at mid 40s was tough gaining unexplained weight along with irratic sleep and sweats. Finally given HRT at 48 ( would recommend ladies get HRT! ) and so far got back sleep and energy levels so got back biking and online classes to try to get fitness back and lose weight. It's been frustrating as weight doesn't come off as quick but carrying less weight does reduce menopause symptoms a lot. Ladies don't be afraid to do light weights as it helps with weight loss. I still have weight I want to lose but concentrating on getting stronger and fitter first. Found Sals circuits which combine cardio and weights and nice informal atmosphere where you work as hard as you want. Fun meeting others too. It's never too late to start getting fitter and I am lucky I have always enjoyed exercise . I bike locally as well so don't get bored with different things each week. ~ Jo M

I was nervous to start as I have always had niggling issues with my back, but wanted to lose weight and become fitter. I need not have worried Sal always ensures the exercises are suitable for me, I love the variety of the sessions and have not got bored yet!
